A minimalist bird feeder for the modern yard made of 100% recycled plastic and recycled rope, the "Bird Silo" was designed by Helsinki-based Studio Tolvanen. The way the feeder is filled (as well as its name) is based on grain silos and fills from the bottom up.

Recommended fillers include sunflower seeds, peanuts and other food suitable for chickadees, blue tits, titmice, nuthatches, finches, woodpeckers, and other small birds who prefer to eat while clinging vertically.
